The Lawrenceburg Community Center provides a wide variety of recreational and educational programs for the entire community.  Serving ages with computer, exercise, and craft classes, dance, basket and volleyball, after school programs, games and entertainment with almost all programs being supplied at no cost. The Center is managed by Mary Beth Hedrick and her staff and is open Monday thru Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM and on Saturdays from 8 AM to 3 PM.

DAC offers adult personal improvement programs such as fitness classes including yoga, Tai-Chi, body toning, dance aerobics and more. computer, art, body toning, dance aerobics and much more. A small membership fee offsets operational costs.

Established in December 1997, members of the community have been turning to the Dearborn Community Foundation, Inc., which administers a total of more than 70 endowed and non-endowed funds. DCF grants support the needs/interests of the Dearborn County community in the fields of community service, social service, education, health, environment and the arts.

Lawrenceburg Main Street is a not-for-profit organization, founded in 1998 to promote a positive downtown city environment. The organization develops projects through various volunteer committees to showcase the historic nature, charm and cameraderie of downtown Lawrenceburg through such means as helping businesses obtain low interest loans and other funding for such enhancements as painting, restoration, awnings and the like.
