The Lawrenceburg City Council consists of five members with one representative from each of four districts and one member at large. Councilmembers are elected for 4 year terms. The City Council meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday each month (or on Tuesday when Monday is a Holiday). Meetings start at 6:00pm at the City Building on Walnut Street. |

CITY ATTORNEY - JOE VOTAW Counselor Joe Votaw was admitted to the Bar in 1968 and has served as the Lawrenceburg City Attorney since 2004. Joe performed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 1963. After receiving his JD from Salmon P. Chase College of Law (Northern Kentucky University) in 1967 he later served as Prosecuting Attorney of the 7th Indiana Judicial Court from 1975 to 1982.
